| | In-Com Fu
 |
This is the fourth painting I finished for In-Com
Data Systems. Can you find the logo inside? (The Logo is the orange part.) It
is the lanterns.
The CEO of In-Com , before he was with In-Com,
spent many years in China with another company. He enjoyed the time
he spent in China so much , I made this for his birthday to remind him of
some of the beauty there. |
This is intended to be a "red
lantern" but of course I made it more orange for In-Com. It is
supposed to look like it is glowing, but I am not sure if that really
comes across.
The symbol in the middle is Fu, meaning Blessing, Good Fortune,
and/or Good Luck.
Fu is one of the most popular Chinese
characters used in Chinese New Year. It is often posted upside down on
the front door of a house or an apartment. The upside down fu means good
luck came since the character for upside down in Chinese sounds the same
as the character for came.
