Cooking w/Turkey

A general review of turkey products

This is just what I have discovered in cooking with various turkey products.  (Of course this review is designed around my personal tastes and feedback from friends and family.)

Ground Turkey

The brands I have used and like are Jenny-O and Honeysuckle White.  I buy the package that comes in the flat, styrofoam container covered with plastic.  I have bought the kinds (sometimes of the same brand) that are cheaper and are wrapped in plastic like sausage, but they are usually pretty hard to swallow.  The brands above are very easy to substitute for ground beef without anyone noticing.  The rule-of-thumb I have learned is to get either the most expensive or the second most expensive version for it to be a good, tasty quality.

When cooking, try the following sometime.  They are wonderful and nobody knows I used turkey unless I tell them!
