This Little One
Take this little one that God has sent your way
Give it love day by day.
Hold it in your heart and arms as you pray,
Give it guidance in the heavenward way.
Give us assurance and hope so none will say
You haven't tried in a loving way.
Take God's will and make it thine.
Give your blessing to the one sent by the Savior Divine.
Let hope, love and joy never cease,
So the one sent may enter a home of peace.
May God bless you day by day
As He helps you walk in the heavenward way.
