Memories
There are memories in my heart,
That slowly make the tear drops start.
Memories so sweet and sad,
Memories of darling dad.
Memories, how they linger near,
To the loved ones we loved so dear.
Memories with the morning light.
Memories when it's dark at night.
Memories both old and new.
Memories with everything we do.
Memories linger all around.
Memories when green leaves turn brown.
There are memories in the spring.
Memories while the birds all sing.
There are memories all the day
And at night when we kneel to pray.
Memories of days gone by.
How the years of memories fly.
There are memories of a mountain home,
Where as a child I used to roam.
Life is so weary with memories of the past,
Our memories will all vanish, when Jesus calls at last.
