Life will never be the same
Without the sound of your laughter
The flash of your smile or a funny face
As though nothing else seemed to matter

Discussing your hurts and wants and dreams
As though it were yesterday
Sneaking in clubs or well needed hugs
Interspersed along the way

Siblings similar and yet unique
Our differing opinions we shared
Settling our differences as time allowed
To prove that we still cared

I hope you never were in doubt
I loved you with all my heart
I pray that you are happier now
And making a brand new start

I pray that you are in heaven
Away from the pain you had known
Spending your time with Jesus
And knowing the love you had shown
